Ninety to the Dozen has grown to become an immensely popular traditional Irish pub music band in Minnesota. They are in high demand for their unique mix of traditional music. They rose to their current popularity as the cornerstone of the Authentic Irish Music Pub Tour popularized in northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin, and in the Duluth, MN area.

Energy and drive in their music are the trademarks of Ninety to the Dozen while their performances radiate all the fun of a house céilidh. The fiddle music features a fiery mix of tunes in a style familiar in the northwest of Ireland or the Maritimes of Canada. The songs range from a mix of traditional Irish to traditional Newfoundland Irish favorites.

Ninety to the Dozen is made up of a collective of top performers in Celtic music who share a passion for the music and enjoy having a good time performing it for others. Most members perform internationally with other touring groups during the course of the year when not enjoying making music together as a group.

The band's name, Ninety to the Dozen comes from modern Irish slang that roughly means 'going all out' which aptly describes the energy of their music and performances.
